The Role of Human Resource Management in Organizations - HRM Exam

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the company HR function, industrial relations, review and monitor all policies, processes, systems and other initiatives.
  • Formulate and implement forward-looking HR and people strategies aligned to and supportive of the long-term business plan.
  • Design and roll out Learning and Development strategies to upskill our workforce to support growth.
  • Lead, coach and inspire teams to maintain a highly engaging culture, motivate employees, foster an environment with high levels of teamwork, accountability, and communication.
  • Champion a performance culture by driving performance and employee development within the organization in line with the JKH Group performance management system.
  • Design and execute employee reward and recognition strategies
  • Empowering HR team members to build credible relationships with business stakeholders and ensuring people expertise is embedded within the leadership of every department.
  • Ensure statutory and legal compliance in HR and support the management by providing HRM advice and counsel for decision making
  • Control the HR budget and report on current and future staffing costs and initiatives.

Person Specifications

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in Human Resources Management including 3 years experience at a senior capacity in the apparel sector, manufacturing or third-party logistics and warehousing businesses.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or relevant professional qualifications from a recognized entity.
  • Master of Business Administration or other professional qualifications would be a distinct advantage.
