Intern – Export Merchandising and Development
We are in search of aspiring positive minded personnel who excel in working environment with a keen eye for career development to join our corporate team.
JOB PROFILE
• Responsible for sourcing and procurement for export requirements.
• Find new suppliers in assigned period.
• Ensure the samples and prices are prepared within agreed timelines and requires quality.
• Ensure customer specifications are met to the fullest.
• Visit factory as and when necessary.
• carry out analysis of competing global suppliers.
• Coordinating order deliveries to ensure the timelines are met.
• Ensure specific compliance requirements of buyers are met by the suppliers.
• Work on new product development.
• Preparation & participate for trade shows (samples, design, etc….)
• Attend buyer and related trainings & traveling as needed.
• Executing each stage of the business cycle with meticulous focus; researching, capturing requirements, co-ordinate sampling & CBD process, price negotiations, support activities, support shipment processes.
• Availability of mobile working.
• Ability & availability to function at different time zones as needed.
• Work on other projects as per managements request.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
• Bachelor’s Degree in International Business Administration.
• 1 year experience in similar capacity
• Commercial awareness
• Team working skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Leadership skills
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
