Lead – Software Quality Assurance
Responsibilities
Successful candidate is expected to lead the Software Quality assurance for the solutions developed by N-able as part of its software development practice. He or she would formulate the test strategies for the development projects, design and develop test cases, plan and design the tests and work with the team to carry out testing to ensure delivery of robust and solid software releases.
He or she will also be responsible for review and enhance test automation strategies adopted by the team and closely work with Business Analysts and Architects in projects to ensure N-able produces high quality business outcomes from the software it develops.

Critical Experiences & Skills
· Deep analytical thinking to relate business requirements and expected end customer experience in deriving test strategies and detailed test designs in order to provide adequate test coverage to support the expected business outcome
· Hands on experience in commercial grade Software Development frameworks to derive understanding of architectural impact on software testing
· Experience in leading Software Quality Assurance teams that delivers the scope from formulation of project level master test strategy to execution and documentation of test results
· Experience in formulating master test strategy, deriving test cases from the business scenarios and use-cases, plan and design tests and execution of tests encompassing the entire software development lifecycle in software development projects that involve service integration and business process automation
· Ability to critically think out of the ordinary to visualize the scenarios under which the developed software is likely to be consumed by the systems (service integration projects) and end users well beyond the imagination of the software architect or the business analyst
· Ability to use test automation frameworks in both service integration projects as well as in business process automation projects (human centric, document centric and straight through)
· Advanced skills in developing documentation practices for articulating the test strategy, test plans, designs and test results
· Experience in testing of non-functional requirements, specifically performance and scalability testing and security testing with the use of commercial grade and open source tools
Desired Qualifications
* Should possess a Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (or equivalent)
* Should be ISQTB certified at Advanced level in Core or Specialist tracks
