Job Description

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) is seeking a candidate at the rank of Lecturer to teach undergraduate satellite engineering courses and supervise multi-disciplinary projects at the undergraduate level.

NUS is a leading Asian and worldwide ranked University with a strong commitment to education and research. It ranks amongst the top 10 universities in Asia.  ECE is the largest department at NUS with over 80 tenure-track and educator-track faculty and 1700 undergraduate, masters, and doctoral students. The department is ranked 5th in QS World University Rankings by Subject (Electrical & Electronic Engineering) in 2021. The department has a Satellite Technology And Research (STAR) centre. STAR has a world class research facility for satellite development (https://online.ece.nus.edu.sg/star/) and is building 5 advanced satellites for formation flying, intersatellite communication and maritime security applications. Qualifications

The candidate should have earned a Ph.D. degree in either Electrical & Electronic / Aerospace / Satellite or Astronautical Engineering. He/she should have experience in satellite development. Applicants who are from other Engineering disciplines but have knowledge or real experience in satellite development are also welcome to apply. Besides teaching, the candidate is expected to supervise multi-disciplinary groups of students who generally have interests in satellites.
