Key purpose of the Job

As Manager – Cutting, you will be reporting to the Deputy General Manager – Manufacturing. You will be responsible for ensuring that the line input is fed on time, considering PO and delivery-wise input. You will build an effective and efficient Cutting team to meet the planned line requirements and reduce OT per month

Key Responsibilities:

1.Achieve all Cutting related KPIs for the plant’s Cutting department
2. Ensure that the right quality and quantity of cut pieces are available for production input as per the production plan to ensure on-time delivery
3. Drive to reduce wastage and deliver the expected quality standards in the Cutting process
4. Manage the process and performance of your team and ensure HR KPIs for the Cutting department are met

Education

• A Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Clothing Technology

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in a similar capacity
• Prior experience in an apparel manufacturing environment would be highly advantageous
• Possess the ability to build and sustain strong professional relationships and communicate effectively across any level in the organization
