We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager Product Management.

Principal responsibilities

• Responsible for the profitability of all Global Liquidity and Cash Management (GLCM) products and services
• Responsible for planning, directing and organizing GLCM product management resources to ensure that they contribute to the overall objectives of GLCM
• Ensure that all GLCM products comply with local regulations, HSBC group policies and internal procedures
• Improve HSBC’s profile, market share and ‘share of mind’ in the marketplace vis-à-vis the competition
• In consultation with the Regional GLCM product team, develop plans to close local product gaps where needed to enhance our competitiveness
• Contributes to the development, formulation and growth of the GLCM business in the region
• Maintain awareness of associated risks (operational risk, product delivery risk) and minimize the likelihood of occurrence through identification, assessment, mitigation and control
• Adherence and execution of Global/Regional Product Governance Framework strategies

Requirements

• This role is open for Sri Lankan passport holders
• Experience in a corporate banking environment or transactional banking environment is preferred
• Strong analytical skills, communication skills, decision-making skills, lateral thinking skills, influencing skills and interpersonal skills
• Team management skills and growth mindset
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and effectively influence and communicate across various business lines at different levels within the organization
• Knowledge of the organization and its products, processes and related regulations affecting their delivery
