Key purpose of the Job

The Manager – Technical leads the team of Garment Technologists and is responsible for ensuring achievement of the Technical / Fit & Construction KPIs for the assigned customer category. The role holder collaborates with the customer / buying house technical teams and internal stakeholders on the technical aspects including style clarifications, development risk assessment, construction validation, pattern making, consumption costing, sample development / approvals and effective production handover.

Key Responsibilities

1. Planning and deploying Technical / Fit & Construction objectives.
2. Driving technical aspects of Product Development, including risk assessment, construction validation, pattern development, consumption costing and sample development / approvals
3. Ensuring achievement of Production Handover / Integration objectives.
4. Collaborating with the internal & external stake holders for achievement of the functional KPIs.
