Medical Records Technician

The Role

You Will Be Responsible For

• Ensuring accurate coding of diseases and therapies
• Scanning, Uploading and labeling of case documents into the appropriate case files
• Collection of medical files and documents to be scanned, indexed and uploaded to web-based Utilization Review case management application.
• The separation and sorting of soft copy medical files and documents

Ideal Profile

• You have at least 3 years experience within a Records Management role, ideally within the Medical or Insurance industry.
• Basic medical terminology
• You are organised and have good interpersonal skills.
• You have good computer skills ( MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
• You have working knowledge of medical coding, data entry
• You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
• You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
• You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable reading and analyzing medical documents in English
• Must be Accurate and Efficient
• Must be Punctual and Dependable
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to meet daily Quota
• Comfortable working an overnight shift
