Key purpose of the Job
As Merchandiser – Procurement, you will be reporting to the Manager – Sourcing of Brandix Casualwear. You will be responsible for optimizing the raw material usage by coordinating the entire procurement process (Purchase order to pay) for the allocated RM category/ customer account in the business unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for procurement of raw material, including pre-order confirmation, Purchase order release and Raw material follow up.
- Ensure achievement of inventory and cost targets for the assigned category / customer account, through optimal ordering, reduction of write-offs and other costs.
- Liaise with the suppliers and concerned internal stakeholders for achievement of On Time Delivery, OTT, process adherence and supplier relationship management objectives.
- Prepare MIS, documentation and reporting for functional procurement activities
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Diploma in Textile or Clothing technology or Materials management or any other relevant stream
Experience
1 – 3 years of experience in Procurement/Merchandising function
