Merchandiser – Product Development
Key purpose of the Job
As Merchandiser – Product Development, you will be responsible for execution of the sample development process (sampling/costing) for the assigned styles. This includes timely submission of samples, costing and T&A plans to maximize profitability in close coordination with cross-functional internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure sample development, costing, price negotiation and communication with the customer.
- Ensure smooth execution of the entire development process from tech pack to sample dispatch.
- Strictly adhere to the Time & Action plan and achieve 100% OTD on sample delivery.
- Liaise with internal/external cross-functional teams whilst building lasting relationships with the customer.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Designing / Clothing Technology or any other relevant stream
Experience
1 to 3+ years’ experience in Merchandising
Good knowledge in fabric, trims and garments with various finishes.
Effective time management and prioritization capabilities, and ability to perform under pressure
Be proactive, assertive and forward-thinking and take ownership in delivering operational excellence.
