Job Overview

Node.js Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust backend applications using NodeJS (Vanilla/Typescript) and leading frameworks such as NestJS, NextJS, or Express.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
• Create and optimize SQL/NoSQL databases from scratch, ensuring efficient design and performance.
• Apply software design principles to develop scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Work comfortably in Agile and Design Thinking environments, while understanding the flexibility required beyond pure Agile methodologies.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders in English.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of hands-on programming experience.
• Proficiency in NodeJS (Vanilla/Typescript) and experience with frameworks like NestJS, NextJS, or Express.
• Strong experience in designing and optimizing SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Understanding and application of software design principles.
• Comfortable working in Agile and Design Thinking environments.
• Strong communication skills in English (B2 level or better).

Will be considered as a plus:

• Experience with Python.
• Experience writing technical documents, tracking technical debt, and understanding refactoring processes.
• Full-stack development experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
