The Postdoctoral Research Associate is responsible for conducting research in specific field. Also responsible for writing manuscripts, developing research proposals, and helping with graduate student mentoring and group organization. Salary: Compensation will be commensurate to selected hire’s experience.

Required Education:
- Appropriate PhD
Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
- Contributes to team effort by working effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds
- May require working evening and/or weekend hours
Preferred Education and Experience:
- PhD in Science related field
- Graduate student research work experience
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research in specific field. Participate in analyzing and disseminating data results as part of participation in group meetings, prepare manuscripts, periodic reports, scientific papers/presentations and grant proposals. Make presentations of results at group meetings and other appropriate venues.
- Attend scientific meetings and seminars for research enhancement. Keep up to date on scientific research via reading of literature, etc. Provide advice and assistance to other laboratory team members, act as a mentor to students. Maintain laboratory instrumentation and follow applicable safety standards. Perform other duties as assigned.
