Procurement ExecutiveJob Responsibilities
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure smooth operation of commercial issues
- Work with team members and project managers to develop future purchasing plans
- Enter purchase orders in the ERP System
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing
- Review quality of purchased products with QAQC team and finalize relevant documentation
- Send RFQs and evaluate potential vendors and price comparison
- Assist in the procurement of material required for projects
- Maintain updated records of purchased products delivery information and invoices
- Coordinate with storekeepers to ensure proper storage
- Ensure that all purchase requisition are attended to without delay
- Travel to project sites as required
Candidate Profile
- Minimum three years’ experience in similar capacity
- Good communication skills in English and ability to negotiate
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Experience in purchasing material for engineering projects would be a distinct advantage
- Professional qualification in purchasing management from a recognized institute would be an added advantage
