The Role

As a Procurement Manager, you would be working collaboratively on supplier communication channels and take solid initiatives in procurement management in the Telecommunication industry. This will be an interesting role for you if you would like to expand into new horizons in procurement management as this role will include key responsibilities such as:

• involving in selection and management of suppliers according to procurement strategies
• involving in monitoring performance of suppliers to ensure continuous improvement in quality of goods supplied and services rendered
• having general knowledge of the product knowledge and BOM knowledge of mainstream products, and creating Purchase Request/ Material Request in a timely manner based on the delivery configuration and project plan
• being familiar with material picking rules, such as first-in-first-out, minimum unpacking rules and substitution rules, small-cycle site delivery process, and warehouse picking and shipment business knowledge and processes
• quickly responding to reverse business requirements such as STR/SIA/GLC/RN, complete inventory counting, distribution, and scrapping, and support offsetting of reverse order information

This role would match your profile;

• if you possess a degree in Procurement, Logistic, Civil or Material Engineering related background or equivalent
• if you have knowledge in finance and international business and previous exposure in procurement with a minimum of 3-5 years industry exposure in a similar role
• if you possess strong analytical skills, planning skills, organizational skills, negotiation skills, good focus on details and able to interact with all levels within the company and represent the company professionally to external partners
• being a motivated individual who would achieve shared goals and results by sincerely providing a helping hand to others
• being a result-oriented team player who has the ability to create a work environment which sparks focused approaches to drive company growth
