Project Officer (Electrical & Electronic Engineering)-(Nanyang Technological University)

Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERIAN) invites applications for the position of Project Officer.

Key Responsibilities: 

The Project Officer’s scope of work would include 3 main areas of responsibility:

1)  First – Assistance in power electronics hardware design

• Design printed circuit boards (PCBs) for power electronics circuits.

• Design wire harness for the new development

• Coordinate with local technical vendors for modifying hardware setups.

2) Second – Assistance in experiments and testing of power converters

• Help with setup of experiments involving testing of prototypes

• Plan out and design experiments

Job Requirements:

• Possess B.Eng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or higher

• Fundamental knowledge of power electronics hardware

• PCB design

• Hardware preparation skills (e.g. soldering)

• Basic embedded system programming competence (e.g. VHDL, C)
