Quality Assurance Engineer
Knowledge & Experience:
- Have owned and developed test plans / strategy and execution for customer facing and internal applications.
- Shown initiative and leadership by playing a key role in the continued improvement of Testing practices
- Highly Skilled in Test Automation and testing scripts
- Experienced in Non-Functional Testing
- Excellent test analysis skills
- Experience in API testing
- Experience with automated testing frameworks/tools such as Cypress, Puppeteer or Laravel Dusk
- Experience with Behavioural Based Development testing using tools such as Behat or Cucumber
- Experience in testing responsive websites in cross-platform testing tools
- Experience in coaching developers on quality assurance and testing
- Be extremely well organized, be able to multi-task, have a proven ability to meet critical deadlines, set priorities and work effectively while under pressure, with minimal supervision
- Understanding of software development life cycle, including CI/CD and testing best practices
- Experience of modern software engineering methodologies (Design Thinking, Agile, DevOps, Continuous Delivery, UX)
- Understanding of PHP and Front-end frameworks such as ReactJS etc.
Qualification:
- University degree qualification in IT, computer science, or Software Development
- Demonstrated expertise in problem-solving and technical innovation.
- Great communication skills and good problem resolution skills.
- Ability to mentor and share knowledge with team members.
- 3+ year’s commercial quality assurance experience
- Ability to work in a large team environment with members of diverse cultures and backgrounds.
- Behaves in a respectful and professional manner, maintaining high integrity and transparency when delivering work.
