Quality Assurance – Lead

Job Specific Duties & Responsibilities

• Allocating tasks to the members of respective teams and monitoring the progress
• Guiding and mentoring junior members of the QA team
• Studying the latest trends, best practices of software quality assurance and contribute to the enhancements of QA practice
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using appropriate tools
• Perform different types of testing related to software quality assurance in collaboration with team members
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
• Monitor debugging process results
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities, open defect counts, etc.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
• Lead and guide the QA team in automation and performance testing.

Job Specific Duties & Responsibilities 

• Thorough knowledge and skills in the software quality assurance process
• Hands-on experience in quality assurance automation tools and performance testing.  
• Minimum four years experience in software quality assurance
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering/ Quality Assurance
• Team player
• Ability to communicate effectively with different project stakeholders
