Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced QA Lead to join our dynamic and innovative team. As the QA Lead, you will be responsible for leading the automation testing efforts, ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with the development team, product owners, and other stakeholders to define and implement effective automation strategies, frameworks, and tools.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the automation testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts, frameworks, and tools using industry-standard automation tools and technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize automation testing requirements and ensure the test coverage meets the project needs.
• Identify and document test cases, test scenarios, and test data to support automation testing.
• Execute and monitor automated test scripts to verify software functionality, performance, and scalability.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Mentor and guide the QA team members on automation best practices, techniques, and tools.
• Stay updated with the latest automation testing trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of automation processes.
• Collaborate with the QA Manager and other stakeholders to establish and maintain quality assurance standards and processes.

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of total QA experience including 2+ years in similar capacity.
• BSc in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in leading and managing a small/medium size team. Excellent PR skills will be a must.
• Experience in working directly with foreign clients.
• Experience in total quality ownership by following Quality Assurance best practices and standards. ISO27001 knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Capable in implementing scalable and reliable automated tests and frameworks. Hands on experience in either Selenium/ Cypress/ Playwright.
• Hands on experience in manual, automation and API testing.
• Experience in Agile (Scrum) approach.
• Experience in CI/CD build pipeline integrations and defect management tools like JIRA.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and taking ownership in project QA deliveries.
• ISTQB qualification would be an added advantage.
• Should be able to align with the UK time zones if required (11AM to 8PM).
