React JS Developer

About The Position

JavaScript developer with 5+ years & above of experience who is proficient with React.js. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them with React.js. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design and quality product is important.

What You’ll Do

• Gathering functional requirements, developing technical specification, planning & implementation
• Designing/developing web, software, mobile apps, prototypes or proof of concepts
• Act in a technical leadership capacity: Mentoring junior engineers, new team members, and applying technical expertise to challenging programming and design problems
• End to end engineering – design, development, testing, deployment for the UI work
• Resolve defects/bugs during testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches
• Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams: product management, various product lines or business units to drive forward results
• Contribute to the design and architecture of the project
• Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM methodologies
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

What You’ll bring

• Experience in HTML, CSS & Responsive design
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Thorough understanding of React.js Design patterns
• Container pattern
• HOC pattern
• Render Props pattern
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
• Should have implemented React, unit testing jest, enzyme on at-least 1 project
• Good to have : cypress e2e ( automation testing), Material UI, CSS Pre-processors
• Addon Redux , Redux Thunk.
