Research Assistant in the Laboratory of Dr. Luo Dahai (profile page: https://dr.ntu.edu.sg/cris/rp/rp00464)

We are currently recruiting a research assistant / associate who will join the laboratory of Molecular Mechanisms of Viral Infection & Host Defense Laboratory at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKC medicine), Nanyang Technological University (NTU).

Responsibilities:

• Work with the PI and team members to perform experiments, document results, and analyse data.

• Assist purchasing of equipment, materials and consumables and provide general supports for the lab.

• Keep track of cell lines, plasmids and other reagents and materials in the lab.

Skills and qualifications:

• Candidates should have a Bachelor’s (for assistant level) or equivalent in any relevant fields of cell biology, biochemistry, virology or structural biology.

• Previous research experience or laboratory training in molecular cellular biology is desired but not essential.

• Self-motivated and well-organized with good communication and technical skills.

• Be able to work independently and collaborate effectively in a highly diverse and interdisciplinary team.
