A Research Associate position is available in the Centre for System Intelligence and Efficiency, School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
Job Description:
The Research Associate will work on a project to conduct the research on development of a navigation system for UAV based power transmission tower inspection. The roles of this position include:
- Development of a sensing system for positioning
- Development of a software system for encircling a structure and maintaining a fixed distance to the structure and avoid collision
- Testing the developed hardware and software systems
Job Requirements:
- Master degree in Engineering / Computer Science or related fields
- Knowledge of UAV control system
- Expert in encirclement study
- Related publications in top conferences and journals
- Python and C++ programming skills
