Research Fellow (Mechanical Engineering / Electrical and Electronic Engineering)

A Research Fellow position is available in the School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

Job Description:

The Research Fellow will work on a project to conduct the research on development of angle-selective surfaces used in array antennas. The roles of this position include:

• Development of angle-selective surfaces and side-elements for greatly reducing an antenna array’s side lobes and back-side radiation

• Development of prototypes for concept verification and performance assessment

Job Requirements:

• PhD in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field

• 1-year research experience in antenna design

• Knowledge in frequency-selective structures

• Experiences in using HFSS and/or CST simulation tools

• Publication track record is an advantage

• Proficiency in antenna measurement systems

• Proficiency in English
