About the job

The Position

Exetel is looking for a Sales Acquisition Executive to be a part of our Superloop/ Exetel Sales team responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our Australian clients.

Exetel’s Colombo office is at CBD Business Center, Colombo 01. You will be required to work a 9 hour ’shift’ from 4 am to 1 pm five days each week to support clients based in Australia.

Your Role

The Sales Acquisition Executive is a trusted advisor to our potential school clients. They proactively build and maintain relationships with schools and partners to understand their challenges and how CyberHound can provide Firewall, cybersecurity, internet connectivity and managed services solutions to improve their digital capabilities.

● Identify and engage new opportunities to expand the CyberHound customer base.

● Meet sales targets by developing strong relationships with stakeholders

● Develop a pipeline of opportunities, driving them to closure, through responding to RFP’s, customer quote requests and utilizing the CyberHound product portfolio.

● Accurately plan, forecast and report on sales activity

● Coordinate internal personnel to ensure that customer operational & commercial outcomes are fulfilled.

About You

● A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Sales role.

● Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate to people in a range of positions.

● A background in business development within the ICT/ technology products & services or education industries (highly regarded)

● An understanding of networking, firewalls and cybersecurity

● Experience in managing a large customer base

● Competent at presenting and negotiating value propositions

● Adept in operating with CRM (Salesforce), G-Suite and/ or Microsoft Office suite applications.

● Ability to build strong internal relationships, and influence stakeholders of different functions and levels.

● Time management and the ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
