Senior Area Sales Executive

Job Purpose
The Sales Executive is responsible for managing the customers and implementing the sales and marketing programmes in the current Sales Channels (Distributors & Direct Dealers) with the objectives of delivering company sales targets for the assigned area through customers
Key Accountabilities
Ensure commitment of sales targets by customers and monitor the sales achievement vs targets for the customers
Monitor the sales performance for each customer daily and ensure the consistent month’s orders from each customer.
Review the sales achievement vs targets with each customer.
Recommend action plans by customers to meet the sales targets
Monitor the areas’ achievement on Active, Frequent, Engaged and Declining customers and achieve the Channel KPIs.
Scout and appoint agreed new outlets in the designated areas.
Implementation of agreed sales activities, promotions, new products launch, town storming in the area.
Key Activities
Ensure achievement of the agreed milestones and target set for his assigned customers.
Monitor the individual customer’s collections against credit terms.
Review on overdue accounts with TM / Finance team and execute plans to reduce the overdue.
Attend regular reviews, discussion sessions and regional meetings with TM.
Collect, Record, and communicate key information and details of market intelligence.
Meet the target set for PMOS and comply to Product Stewardship and Observance of HSES policy in the daily job.
Experience
Minimum 1- 2 years’ experience in Sales. Experience of sales in coatings, hardware, building materials industry or other retailing is an advantage
Plan and control on the customer’s visit plans and market coverage.
Recommend and propose on new dealer appointments, trade activities at customers, and sales promotions within the channels.
Education
Credit passes for Mathematics and English in GCE O/L
Passed GCE advance level
(Diploma in sales and marketing would be an added advantage)
