Senior Business Analyst – RFP Coordinator

RFPs are a major source of leads and large contracts for WSO2. The selected candidate will lead and coordinate this effort. The role is responsible for coordinating the RFP process, managing the people, process, and technology around this initiative, and ensuring high-quality leads and conversions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage and govern the RFQ/RFI/RFP response procedures within the WSO2 sales process.
- Design, implement and update the RFP/tender procedures within the WSO2 sales process.
- Manage and administer the RFP automation tool used by WSO2.
- Ensure the knowledge library within the RFP automation tool is up-to-date, based on product releases and updates. Coordinate with technical and non-technical teams to ensure the update process is executed efficiently.
- Participate in RFQ/RFI/RFP triages when required and educate relevant teams on managing the triage processes.
- Collect and track metrics on the RFQ/RFI/RFP process, analyze and suggest improvements to the operational processes.
- Conduct training and workshops on RFQ/RFI/RFP procedures to the relevant teams.
- Participate in discussions with customers and understand their business requirements in the context of APIM/Integration and CIAM.
- Prepare relevant material/documents and present the customer requirements and contribute towards the solution architecture process, assist the Solutions Architecture team to better understand how the WSO2 platform could solve business problems.
- Prepare relevant material/documents and present how WSO2 platform features would add value to the customer’s business architecture, enhancing their existing processes and increasing revenue opportunities.
- Develop subject-matter-expertise on specific subjects related to WSO2 (WSO2 products/business architecture/industry verticals/competitor products etc.). Learn, apply, demonstrate and write about these subjects.
Qualifications and Skills:
- BSc in Information Systems/Business Information Systems or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of industry experience.
- Experience in coordinating and managing RFI/RFPs.
- Experience in creating technical sales proposals to match customer requirements.
- Previous experience in managing or using an automated RFI/RFP tool such as RFP360/ RFPIO/Loopio will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills.
- Strong requirement analysis and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in an environment where members are from different backgrounds/teams.
