Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Able to handle code deployments in all environments for rapid and consistent manner.
• Design & implement automated DevOps process in CI pipelines for build, deployment, and configuration management.
• Work directly with the Development team and to continuously test & troubleshoot system integrity.
• Be able to design and implement a set of standard procedures to be used for: build, deployment, and configuration management.
• Continuously improve deployment of infrastructure (IaC) through code and automation.
• Follow best practices to ensure fast, secure, reliable & maintainable production environments.

Qualifications and skills:

• 2-3 year working experience with relevant Bachelor’s Degree.
• Strong programming knowledge with up-to-date standard build/deployment process for stack including Nodejs, Java & PHP.
• Strong working knowledge in networking & Linux with scripting skills in Bash/Python to support it.
• Design, configure and support software lifecycle in CI/CD pipelines including GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Deployment & configuration knowledge in tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Helm & Nginx.
• Configure and manage data sources like MySQL, Mongo, Redis, Elasticsearch & etc.
• Strong working knowledge in any of cloud provider AWS, Azure & GCP.
• Setup & maintain monitoring & logging systems for production systems.
• Working knowledge in infrastructure tools like Terraform & Ansible for configuration management.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Understanding of networking protocols and security principles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior DevOps engineers.
