Role Summary
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our data infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop robust data pipelines, optimize data workflows, and ensure the reliability and scalability of data systems at one or more of our diverse business partners.

Job Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines to support various data initiatives.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Implement best practices for data ingestion, transformation, storage, and retrieval to ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability.
• Optimize data workflows and processes for improved performance and efficiency.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data infrastructure to identify and resolve issues proactively.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering and recommend new tools and techniques to enhance our data capabilities.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance and support as needed.

Person Specification

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physical Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• 04+ years of experience in data engineering with a proven track record of designing and implementing data solutions.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Strong experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases, SQL, and data modeling concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
