We are on the lookout for a dynamic and passionate individual to join the Group Human Resources team of MAS Capital (Pvt) Ltd as a Senior Executive – Compensation & Benefits. The role requires an individual to assist with governance and executive performance related pay schemes, alternative incentive schemes for adjacencies and to assist with strategies in attracting and retaining talent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive compensation benchmarking studies in select overseas locations for Executive to General Manager grades to obtain market compensation information for all job families.
  • Maintain all data & inputs for the administration & governance of the alternative incentive scheme structures
  • Assist in executing the annual cycles of alternative incentive schemes by ensuring governance protocols are established & adhered to in the communication & execution of such schemes.
  • Work with finance, external consultants and other the SBUs in finalizing the pay-out values on alternative incentive schemes and make recommendations to the Management
  • Assist management in decision making on scheme renewal & amendments by providing necessary inputs/analysis & financial modelling reports to the management
  • Assist in the execution of standard performance review pay scheme in Sri Lanka & overseas locations
  • Assist with the proposals/presentations to the compensation committee on alternative incentive scheme & standard PRP scheme.
  • Assist in streamlining & making improvement for compensation processes by carrying out compensation benchmarking for select countries of operations to ensure alignment of MAS’s compensation practices
  • Proactively research on new trends and make recommendation on future proofing & aligning the compensation framework for Executive and above to the new ways of working (including Remote/part time/gig)

 

Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Competencies:

  • Graduate in Business Management / HRM / Marketing or Qualified in Professional Business Education (CIMA/ACCA/CIM).
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a relevant field
  • Strong research, analytical & communication skills.
  • Good communication skills with proficiency in MS Office Packages
  • Attention to detail and diligence in whatever task assigned
  • Able to demonstrate flexibility and quick to adapt to environments
