SENIOR EXECUTIVE – FINANCE, Vacancies at MAS Holdings, Sri Lanka.

We are on the look out for a qualified individual to join MAS Holdings – Group Finance team as a Senior Executive – Finance. This position requires to be overall responsible for the financial accounting process of MAS Holdings (Private) Limited, by reviewing Company’s investments, expenses, and budgets. The individual will also prepare the monthly management accounts as per the group accounting policies and procedures and facilitate the organizational decision -making process while assisting the management to maintain the required compliance levels of corporate income tax and other statutory obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare financial statements of MAS Holdings (Private) Limited including variance analysis, debtor, creditor, investment aging reports that gives a true and fair view of the company to the management on a timely manner.

· Responsible for completion of the Financial Audit of MAS Holdings (Private) Limited by the time stipulated by the group directives in accordance with professional standards and group accounting policies.

· Produce timely investment analysis relating to MAS Holdings investments to assess impairment indications and to support decision making process on future funding process relating to Company’s investments

· Responsible for compliance levels of CSA, adhere to necessary controls and make sure the submissions are done on time.

· Review monthly expenses in order to maintain accurate accounts as per organizational/ accounting standards and to facilitate the organizational decision making process.

· Ensure the quarterly and annual submission of Income Tax returns of MAS Capital, MAS Holdings and arranging self-assessment tax payments and final payments and working with tax specialist and consultants, by providing them required information, check, discuss & confirm the tax computation and return.

· Assisting with identified tax exposure for foreign payments and other related agreements.

Qualifications and Experience:

· Degree in Finance, preferably member of CA Sri Lanka or ACCA (MBA will be an added advantage)

· Minimum 3 –5 years Industry/ Service Sector experience in a similar functions preferably inclusive of Audit experience.

· In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards, Tax Policies & Regulatory Reporting Environment.

· Excellent command of SAP, Microsoft Excel, strong analytical, report writing and communication skills.

· Ability to build and uphold excellent business relationships.
