Senior Executive – Product Development
Being in the business for over 17 years, MAS Active is a prestigious establishment in Sri Lanka focusing on Activewear, Athleisure, Performance wear and Men’s essentials.
Embark on a journey of change with MAS, by joining the Active – Trading team as a Senior Executive Product Development! This role would enable you to liaise with relevant teams in order to ensure accurate information pertaining to product development is communicated to the relevant parties thereby, facilitating a smooth Production process.
Key responsibilities
- To work with the Technical teams and provide construction solutions thereby, confirming the garment is ready for durability conditions
- To hold responsibility of achieving the sample sewing plan execution whilst, working with the Development Technical & Merchandizing team
- To liaise with Pre-production/ Production teams in order to provide guidance and information pertaining to the product development knowledge gained
- Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management
Knowledge and skills
- Degree in B.Sc. Engineering
- 2 – 3 years of relevant work experience
- 3 years’ experience in seamless knitting and product development
- Skill of Santoni Knitting programming (Top2 /Top2V / TR)
- Knowledge on yarns and yarn development
- Knowledge on fabric development and seamless product development
- Analytical skills
