Senior Executive – Sourcing & Supply Planning, Careers At Hela Apparel Holdings, Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

• Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients.
• Anticipate and manage unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies.
• Plan & Perform risk management regarding supply contracts and agreements.
• Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials from both local and oversea vendors.
• Finalize vendor’s quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project.
• Managing internal and external parties on issues regarding purchasing Terms & Conditions.
• In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules.
• Evaluate & finalize supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation.
• Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree/Diploma in ISSM, Business Management, Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-5 years working experience in Sourcing & Supply in an apparel industry.
• Excellent skills in negotiations, planning and problem solving.
• Ability to liaise effectively with suppliers, consultants, contractors and end users.
• Possess strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
