Key purpose of the Job

As Senior Fabric Technology, you will be reporting to the Assistant Manager – Fabric Technology. You will be responsible for the end-to-end fabric development, testing and assurance processes for an account (customer/SBU). You will also lead and manage Fabric Technologists to ensure the smooth functioning of the garment manufacturing process and for the timely achievement of Supply Chain initiatives related to Fabric Technology

Key Responsibilities:

1. Implement a range of technical, investigative and quality control work
2. Support collaborative partnerships with suppliers to accomplish fabric inspection objectives
3. Support the efficient running of all related functions
4. Achieve the Functional KPIs in LRP in Supply Chain
5. Drive sustainable fabric supplier auditing processes and supply projects to achieve the Supply Chain objectives

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Textile/Clothing/Fabric Technology

Experience

• 2 years of relevant experience in the Fabric Technology function with strong technical knowledge of raw materials, development and production
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to liaise across all levels of the organization.
• Hands-on experience in the Fabric Technology function in the garment manufacturing process.
• Knowledgeable about the fabric manufacturing process in fabric mills.
• Hands-on experience in the fabric inspection process.
