Senior Frontend Developer
Responsibilities
- Own and create intuitive, fluent and responsive user interfaces. Build fast-rendering reusable and extendable front-end components using Angular.
- Build individual components as well as entire web applications.
- Work with other development team members to distill internal and customer needs into requirements and tech specs.
- Drive high engineering standards on the team through code review, automated testing, and mentoring.
- Develop solid unit and integration tests according to organizational standards.
- Participate in reviewing design and code for other team members.
- Adhere to agile development principles while following and improving all aspects of the scrum process.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
- Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience building fast-rendering reusable and extendable components using HTML, CSS and modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, Typescript, etc.
- Bachelors or Master’ degree in computer science, information systems, or related.
- Having Minimum 3 years of industry experience in Frontend Development or related role.
- 2+ years of experience with JavaScript, AngularJS, Angular 15/16, HTML5, CSS3, JSON.
- Having a deep understanding of performance and User Experience concepts.
- Ability to learn quickly, and independently, in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time-management, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
- Strong communication skills: in person, on paper, or in code. You can explain technical concepts to product managers, other engineers, and support.
- Experience with bitbucket/Jira.
- High attention to detail. An individual who is familiar with the complexities of web development, e.g., mobile responsiveness, browser compatibility.
- Have a great sense of design. A passion to build software that delights users.
