Senior Manager – Human Capital
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement HC strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
• Drive the organization’s human capital, including talent acquisition, talent management, employee engagement, employee retention and succession planning practices
• Manage organization’s compensation and benefits program including the salary processing and making statutory payments in a timely and precise manner
• Ensure scheduled performance evaluations and oversee the total performance management process
• Provide recommendations to the top management on people related aspects of the organization
• Maintain harmonious labour relations at all levels in the organization
• Coordinate with global centers of excellence to implement global best practices locally where
• relevant
• Act as the key point of contact for HC system implementation and upgrades to the existing systems by liaising with the global HC centers
• Coordinate and provide input to the organization L&D function on areas requiring additional training programs to the staff based on the permanence evaluation of staff
Requirements
• A university degree specializing in HC or an equivalent professional qualification
• At least five years of managerial experience in HC with no less than ten years of relevant
• experience
• People oriented and result driven
• Ability to develop strategy along with leadership skills
• Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
• In-depth knowledge of labor law and HC best practices
• Strong communication skills in English and Sinhalese
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and HRIS
• A good motivator and trainer
