Senior Manager – Production, Vacancies At Hela Apparel Holdings, Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

• Monitor & manage the sewing production process to ensure the production process is carried out as per the delivery schedule and approved budget.
• Plan monthly delivery schedule according to customer requirement (to achieve 100% on-time delivery)
• Investigate /review by communicating with relevant departments on issues in the production process using PDCA to eliminate the root cause in order to complete an entire style in a timely manner.
• Conduct a daily meeting with the production executives to monitor actual production achievements against the planned loss time quality and technical issues and provide solutions.
• Responsible for planning efficiency and SAH (Standard Achieved Hours).
• Adhere to 6S, Health and Safety, Production & Social compliance procedures in order to eliminate waste, minimize cost and establish lean manufacturing concepts.
• Participate in the PP meeting, risk analysis meeting and sharing suggestions and QCO.
• Liaise with HR department to ensure the satisfaction of reporting employees through people management activities & Identify training needs of reporting employees and optimize their performance and capabilities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree/Diploma in Operation Management, Manufacturing or equivalent.
• Minimum 5-7 years’ production, planning experience in a manufacturing
• Should possess knowledge on order reconciliation
• Independent self-driven, effective team player and dedicated with high sense of integrity and meet tight deadlines.
• Exposure in Lean Manufacturing & 5S will be an added advantage.
• Exposure to PVH / VS production would be an added advantage
