Job Overview

Senior .NET Core Developer

To be successful in this role, you will have:

MANDATORY:

• .NET Framework & .NET Core
• Expertise in developing applications using .NET Framework and .NET Core
• Familiarity with ASP.Net, MVC, Web API for creating web applications and RESTful services
• Understanding of Entity Framework for database operations
• Knowledge of .NET Core’s cross-platform development capabilities

Azure:

• Proficient in deploying, managing, and scaling web applications on Azure
• Experience with Azure services such as Azure SQL Database,
• Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Storage
• Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for container orchestration
• Understanding of Azure networking and security best practices

Azure DevOps:

• Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipelines
• Knowledge of Azure Repos for source control and Azure Artifacts for package management
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Azure
• Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform
• Understanding of Azure Test Plans for integrated testing solutions

DESIRABLE:

Python:

• Proficiency in Python, especially in writing backend services or automation scripts
• Experience with Python web frameworks such as Django or Flask
• Familiarity with Python’s ecosystem for data manipulation, analysis, and machine learning (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, Scikit- learn)

Front-end Technologies:

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks or libraries like React, Angular, or Vue.js

Database Management:

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Understanding of database design, normalization, and performance optimization

SOFT SKILLS:

Problem-Solving:

• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently

Team Collaboration:

• Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation

Communication:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Ability to lead projects and mentor junior developers

OTHER IMPORTANT SKILLS:

DevOps Practices:

• Understanding of DevOps principles and practices to improve automation and collaboration

• Knowledge of web security practices, including OAuth, JWT, and web vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10)

Testing:

• Experience with automated testing frameworks for unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing

Project Management:

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA for project tracking
