The Role

At Gapstars, our goal is to fuel growth for highly ambitious tech companies with world-class tech talent. If you are an experienced and ambitious Senior PHP Developer with strong programming fundamentals and the ability to adopt new frameworks as needed we want to hear from you.

As a Senior PHP Developer, you will be expected to architect, develop and release user-facing features and ensure the quality of our product continues to serve the needs of our tens of millions of users.

– 5+ years of experience in the relevant field.

– Extensive knowledge of PHP, MVC, OOP and MySQL

– Experience with the Symfony framework is a must

– Experience in writing (fast) REST API’s

– Basic knowledge of javascript

– An understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.

– Experience with GIT

– Experience with setting up and maintaining unit/integration tests and writing testable code is a must.

– Experience with synchronizing data from different sources (e.g. product information from EPOS systems) is a plus

– Experience with CI/CD of multiple (hundreds) of websites via Jenkins / Kubernetes / containers (Docker) is a plus.
