The Role:

As a Senior PHP/Laravel Developer, you will be pivotal in creating and improving web-based applications that empower educators and learners alike.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, front-end developers, and product managers, to develop and enhance web applications
• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable PHP/Laravel-based solutions for their educational platforms
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, optimise application performance, and implement security best practices

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience with PHP & developing web-based applications
• Strong experience with Laravel or similar frameworks, including Symfony, Zend or Yii etc
• Strong understanding of web development concepts, including front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and RESTful APIs
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Highly Desirable:

• Experience in educational technology or e-learning platforms
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Frontend development experience with React
