Senior Quality Assurance Engineer Jobs at Calcey Technologies in Colombo, Sri Lanka

The role would require a commitment to the company’s overall QA strategy and include the planning and execution of test and verification strategies. Understanding delivery requirements and constraints with delivery excellence in mind at all times will be paramount. The chosen candidate will be entrusted with the following tasks:

• Review requirement specifications, understand the requirements, and provide meaningful and timely feedback
• Design, develop and execute automated test scripts
• Create well-structured and comprehensive test cases and test plans
• Provide input for test estimations
• Prioritize and perform quality testing activities
• Report issues and prepare bug reports (using JIRA, Mantis)
• Provide input for QA Release Note
• Provide input for test artifacts
• Maintain test environments
• Automate regression test suites
• Perform usability and performance testing
• Assist and enhance the company’s testing methodologies and quality control standards
• Mentor and provide training assistance to Associate QA Engineers

• A commonsense view of the world, with a strong end-user perspective on software apps, acquired through personal use of web and mobile apps
• 4 to 5 years of experience in Test Case Writing, Test Planning, Testing, and Issue Reporting
• Experience in Test Automation (Selenium)
• Experience with performance testing using JMeter would be an added advantage
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
