Profile

• You must have an outstanding academic and industrial track record with a recognised degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related discipline;
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Good communication, interpersonal and team working skills. Most of all you must have a passion for developing high quality software.

Qualification & Experience

• At least 3 years experience in Software Quality Assurance, preferably in Retail applications.
• Extensive knowledge of testing techniques and procedures.
• Good understanding of the software development process including Agile methods.
• Use of Jira or equivalent issue tracking systems.
• Knowledge in BDD driven automation test scripting (Java, Selenium, Appium, Cucumber) knowledge in SQL queries, executing, maintaining and monitoring test suites in different windows / Linux platforms , manual / automation test design techniques.
• Previous hands on experience in automation framework development will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Writing manual/automation test scripts to test software developed in-house.
• Logically re-testing issues to recreate and pin-point defects and to be able to explain and document the issue in detail, enabling developers to fix the issue.
• Bug monitoring and control – creating, updating and closing defects.
• Set up and maintenance of test environments.
• Producing test reports detailing results.
• Liaising and clearly communicating with other team members, the development team and other internal stakeholders.
