A Senior Research Fellow position is available in the Surbana Jurong-NTU Corporate Laboratory, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

Job Description:

• Development of advanced modelling techniques for simulations of urban hydrological systems for coastal cities, particularly to quantify the interdependencies between the climate and water systems

• Work with application cases including urban and water systems

• Present research works in several papers in top-tier journals

Job Requirements:

• Possess a PhD degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

• At least 7 years of post-doctoral work experience in field applications related to urban and water utility systems with records of effectiveness and can immediately participate in the research projects and deliver the research outcomes

• Have extensive experience in the modelling and simulations of urban hydrological water systems near coastal cities, and publishing in at least one of these areas

• Possess an additional graduate degree with relevant course training in the discipline of hydro-informatics will be preferred

• Have excellent analytical and programming skills

• Good problem solving and organizational skills

• Strong written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct clear presentations and prepare written reports

• Highly committed and motivated

• Able to work in a highly interdisciplinary environment
