Senior Software Engineer – Back-End
The Role
You Will Be Responsible For
- Writing well-designed, testable and efficient code.
- Gathering and evaluating user feedback.
- Working as a part of a dynamic team to deliver winning products.
- Providing code documentation and other inputs to technical documents.
- Supporting continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
- Troubleshooting and debugging to optimise performance.
Ideal Profile
Skills Required
- Experience in Node.js, other JavaScript libraries will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work closely with product management & UX to execute an idea from concept to delivery using excellent software design, coding, & processes.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Proficient in code versioning tools, including Git and SVN.
- Hands-on experience with 3rd party API integration, Payment gateways, Notifications, Chat integration.
- A passion for technology and the ability to learn new concepts quickly.
- Self-taught/HND/Certifications/Bachelor’s degree + tactical experience or related background preferred or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with PHP or Java and Object-Oriented-Design principles.
- Experience in building advanced app features for cross-platforms.
- Proficient in English is required to cater the role
