Job description

We seek a senior Back-End developer with the strong background in Java and Go, and a proven track record of building robust, scalable server-side applications.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality back-end services and leading development efforts.

Responsibilities

• Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
• Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
• Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure the project meets business objectives and compliance standards
• Support test and deployment of new products and features
• Participate in code reviews

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (e.g., IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in back-end development with a focus on Java and Go.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in Java APIs for RESTful Web Services.
• Experience supporting Unix-based applications, including experience troubleshooting in a Unix
• environment.
• Proven experience leading and managing development teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Proficiency in modern development tools and workflows, such as Git, CI/CD, and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently with clients, manage expectations, and deliver high-quality solutions
