Senior Software Engineer (Power BI | Analytics) – REF 1305

TECHNICAL SKILLS

· Strong knowledge of Power BI development, SQL, Data Warehouse/Analysis, Tabular, DAX, Power Query, M

· Skills with data preparation, modelling, and reporting with Power BI (all Ecosystems: Desktop, Services, Gateway)

· Knowledge of data models in Power BI (Import, Direct Query, Composite, Live Connection, Push Architecture)

· Knowledge of Star-Schema modelling, Snowflake Schema modelling, Fact and Dimension tables

· Experience in Power BI Administration, Premium capacities, and Gateway management

· Sound understanding of Power BI Dataflow and Datasets

REQUIREMENTS

· A Degree in Computer Science or and equivalent qualification

· 3+ years’ industry experience in a Power BI/Data Analytics role

· Design and develop Power BI reports/dashboards with Dataset ingestion & transformation, Data Modelling, and DAX

· Translate requirements into reports/dashboards (created from multiple data sources) by presenting suggestions

· Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements for business needs

· Performance tuning and optimization of reports and dashboards

· Good communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
