Senior Software Engineers Node.js
Calcey Technologies is one of Sri Lanka’s leading software product engineering firms, building market-leading digital products for enterprise and startup clients across the globe. Calcey’s Colombo offices require the services of Senior Software Engineers – Node.js.
Responsibilities
This is a hands-on role that includes planning, designing, coding, debugging, testing, deployment and team leadership. In addition, the position will require interfacing with other internal and external technology stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications
- High proficiency & hands-on experience in developing back-ends with Node.js.
- Extensive knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience with Express.js and Sequelize
- Experience building AWS Lambda functions with Node.js
- Experience working with Relational and NoSQL databases
- Experience with AWS S3, SNS, SQS
- Knowledge and experience in Architectural and Design Patterns
- Thorough in Object-Oriented Design
- Experience building front-ends with React or Angular will be a plus
- 3+ years hands-on industry experience
- Willingness to learn different programming paradigms, languages and technologies is a requirement
