We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Architect QA to join our team. The successful candidate will join a distributed team of software engineers, QA Software Engineers and DevOps engineers focused on all parts of the Quality Assurance of our software. This senior role includes contributing in design, development and implementation of software quality assurance strategies and processes across all of RnD to ensure that our software meet or exceed our high quality standards.

In this role you closely collaborate with the Senior Director to plan organizational strategies, policies and investments in QA. A Software Architect QA in our team is expected to be proficient in test automation (unit, integration as well as end-to-end and UI) and very comfortable in mentoring and supporting teams in RnD when it comes to industry best practices and modern approaches to quality assurance.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with software development teams to ensure software products are developed with quality in mind
• Contribute to company roadmap for QA
• Support, coach and mentor teams in best practices in areas like:
  • Review and analyze software requirements and design specifications
  • Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Manual and automated tests
  • Participating in product design and code reviews
  • Identify and prioritize defects and issues, and work with development teams to resolve them
  • Agile testing
• Evaluate and report on the quality of our software products
• Design, develop and implement software quality assurance strategies and processes than span the whole organization
• Participate in projects and initiatives in the QA area. Level of participation can vary from consultant to project owner, requirements owner or implementation owner.
• Mentor and guide team members on best practices in software quality assurance

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on software architecture
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and processes
• Experience with software architecture design and review
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
