Overview
We are seeking Software Developers/Engineers to join the ParentPay Development team, where you will contribute to the design and improvement of our products and help us extend our growing market leading position.

Key Responsibilities
- Acquire a comprehensive understanding of our products
- Analyse requirements and estimate development efforts
- Adopt industry best practices and organisational coding standards
- Produce clean and efficient code
- Test and debug produced code
- Apply version control according to industry best practice
- Create and update technical documentation
- Work as part of a cross functional Scrum team
- Involved in full SDLC from discovery through to delivery
- Developing features at all levels of the full software stack front to back
- Involved in front-end development alongside our dedicated UX team
- Take a pro-active approach to personal learning and career development
- Participate in regular coaching and mentoring for career progression
Skills, Knowledge And Expertise
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3+ years experience in a software development role
- Passionate, enthusiastic and experienced software engineer
- Excellent analytical skills
- Experience of developing both existing and new web applications and APIs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team player
- Experience of working in an Agile development environment
- Understanding of software design and patterns
- Experience with unit-test, continuous integration and TDD
- Highly motivated and proactive with a positive attitude
- Proven ability to develop and deliver high quality software
- Proficient in developing full stack web applications
- Able to work independently without constant management
- Takes ownership and work well under pressure to respond quickly to any issues
- Flexible to adapt readily to changing priorities and working practices
