Software Engineer (UI/UX)

Role Description

As a UI/UX Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and enhancing user experiences. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing innovative design solutions. While the primary location for this role is in our Colombo office, there is flexibility for some remote work, allowing you to bring your creativity to the forefront from various environments.

Education

• Hold a Degree in a related discipline from a recognized university or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 1+ year of industry experience in a similar capacity

Qualifications

• A good grasp of usability and user-centered design practices.
• Strong skills in UI prototyping and UX design skills
• Ability to efficiently create user flows and wireframes
• Proven experience in testing and evaluating user experiences to make improvements
• Passionate about staying updated on new technologies and eager to come up with innovative ideas.
• Proficient in constructing user flows and prototypes.
• Openness to going out and learning from users, customers, and stakeholders to improve designs.
• Effective communication of the design process to stakeholders and other interested parties.
• Ready to collaborate and work well with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in developing and using design systems, components, and patterns.
• Proficient in using Figma or a similar tool for design tasks

Advantageous if,

• Experience in Frontend Development
• Experience with SaaS product applications
