Specialist – Radio Network Planning
Description
- Responsible for identifying opportunity areas in AI & analytics, translating and prioritization analytical business requirement within division and leading cross functional project teams of data scientists, data engineers, and functional managers to drive key business outcomes and metrics for the department.
- Serve as single SPOC for new requirements elicitation, elaboration and documentation in Jira (reports, dashboards and analytic projects
- Work with business/support units to identify opportunities for leveraging organizations data to drive business.
- Carry out exploratory data analysis, visualization, hypothesis testing
- Presenting findings & actionable intelligence to stakeholders & senior management through data visualization tools.
- Research on industry best practices and work with internal / external parties on RnD tasks.
- Prepare roadmaps, investment papers and research on emerging technologies.
- Communicates and works with business subject matter experts for continuous improvement of methodologies.
- Carry out trials, adaptations of methodologies.
- Managing operational report requests via Tableau/Safe Harbor.
- Identify the project backlog and backlog grooming.
- Managing the reports in the BI publisher portal (remove duplicates, new additions)
- Managing the dashboard in the Tableau portal (remove duplicates, new additions, availability of required data attributes)
- Derive insights using data sources and data pipelines by appraising telco data to solve complex problems of the division. The strategy should include an end-to-end solution with details on how to utilise big data from Opcos using suitable machine learning methods to provide solutions & achieve KPI set by CDO/CCO/COO/CSO with details on resources required & project timeline
Entry Requirements
- Should possess a four years Bsc degree in engineering in electronics & Telecommunication/Electrical/Mechanical /Civil/Computer from a recognized University (accredited by relevant body of the relevant country).
- Good Knowledge in Good knowledge in 2G,3G and 4G technologies, systems and operations, Network Planning & Optimization Fundamentals, Network Monitoring Tools (Alcatel NPO, Huawei Imanager, Ericsson BO, etc.) and financial KPIs/parameters and impact to them from business decisions/operations.
- Hands on experience with Radio network planning and optimization tools.
- Minimum 4-5 Years post experience in the required field Electronics & Telecommunications/Electronics/Electrical & Electronics
