Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a System Developer located in Colombo District. The System Developer will be responsible for system development, software development, programming, working with databases, and testing. The role will involve day-to-day tasks related to the development and maintenance of software systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Professional Developer, AWS Certified Developer) is an added advantage.
• 3 years of experience in analyzing business requirements, Design and software development.
• Experience with web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs) for building modern, responsive web applications.
• Proficiency in relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) for designing and optimizing data models and queries.
• Knowledge of software design patterns, architectural principles, and microservices architecture for building scalable, modular, and maintainable systems.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) for deploying and managing applications in cloud environments.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a passion for exploring new technologies, tools, and techniques to improve software quality and productivity.
